Step 1: Get to the announcment record.
Method 1:
If you have the announcement already in your announcement portlet, click the edit button on the announcement:

This will bring you to the announcement record:

Method 2:
Go through the menu command: Setup > [REED] Nopticeboard < [REED] Announcement and click on [REED] Announcement.

This will bring you to the list of announcements. Click “View” next to the announcement record you are looking for:

Step 2: Click on the View Acknowledgements button:

This will load up a page which shows you who has yet to acknowledge and who has acknowledged the announcement:

Let's break down the page. The first section shows you the content of the announcement, excluding the attachment, if there is one:

The second section shows you how many total employees must acknowledge the announcement. This does not care about their roles. As long as at least one of their roles has the announcement then they will appear in this list once. The Pending value keeps track of the number of acknowledgements remaining. The Acknowledged count shows both a nominal count and percentage of the total employees who have acknowledged the announcement.

Finally, a table shows the employee ID, employee name and whether or not they are pending acknowledgement or have acknowledged the announcement:

When an employee has acknowledged the announcement, it will show the following status:
