What is QuickLinks?

Quicklinks takes a good idea from NetSuite (Shortcuts) and makes it better.  Most users of Quicklinks will retire the standard NetSuite Shortcuts in favor of Reed's Quicklinks.  

Quicklinks lets you create a structured, colour coded set of headers and links to webpages (including NetSuite pages) for easier navigation:
 

With Quicklinks, we can 

• hard set the number of columns from 1to 20 columns (not available with Netsuite Shortcuts)
• have multiple Quicklinks for a single URL (not available with Netsuite Shortcuts)
• color co-ordinate Quicklinks (not available with Netsuite Shortcuts)
• have multiple portlets of Quicklinks giving us even more options for easily organizing the Quicklinks (not available with Netsuite Shortcuts)
  
   

Procedure

1. Request a License from Reed Consultants International Pty Ltd
2. Provide your NetSuite account number to Reed Consultants International Pty Ltd
3. Reed Consultants International Pty Ltd will then provision the software - allowing it to be downloaded.
4. An Admin from your company downloads the NetSuite bundle and accepts the license
5. Admin creates a QuickLink record for each user.
6. Admin configures a portlet to host the QuickLink record on the dashboard
   1. Admin will setup one QuickLink button linking to the QuickLink Configuration screen
7. User adds QuickLink portlet to dashboard
8. User configures QuickLink portlet
