What is TXN Flow+?

TXN Flow+ (Pronounced: “Transaction flow plus”)  shows how NetSuite transactions are related to other transactions so that you can get a birds-eye view of where a transaction sits in its Procure-to-pay or Order-to-cash process immediately.

It lets you view the transaction in 2 ways.

1. The Flow View or Progress Bar View:

This provides an immediately recognisable picture of where a transaction sits in its Order to Cash or Procure to Pay process up to the customer/vendor payment. 

It displays total amount associated with all transactions of that type in the flow and it generates buttons that work as links to each found transaction.

Below is an example of this view of transactions related to PURCHORD918.

2. The Transaction Map View:

This view generates a user-friendly diagram that shows the links between each transaction. It also displays transactions that are only linked to your current transaction via sharing a payment or credit.

Again, this screen lets you easily navigate to related transactions but this time by clicking on the circles. 

It also shows you the amounts associated with each individual transaction.

The flow chart is easily viewed on all of the supported transaction types via the Txn Flow+  button on the transaction:

What is the process for setting up TXN Flow+?

TXN Flow+ is very easy to install and configure. To do so:

1. Request a license from Reed Consultants International Pty Ltd. The instructions for this are listed below in the “So how can I get it?” section.
2. Get an Administrator to install the bundle, following our installation guide in the next article.
3. Congratulations! It's that simple to set up.

 

So how can I get it?

1. Request a License from Reed Consultants International Pty Ltd. To do this, please just reach out via email to Stewart@reed-consultants.com. Please tell us you would like a copy of TXN Flow+ and provide us with your NetSuite account number.  Your account number is the 6 or 7 digit number at the start of the url when you are on any NetSuite page.
2. Reed Consultants International Pty Ltd will then provision the software to your NetSuite account - allowing it to be downloaded. Please wait for us to let you know that it is provisioned.
3. Once it is provisioned, proceed with the installation instructions in the next article by clicking the “Next” button at the bottom of this article.
