Edit the properties of the template;
-
Next we need to ‘Unblock’ the security on the file. To do this tick the ‘Unblock’ checkbox and then click ‘Apply’ and then ‘OK’.
- You can now open your Excel Connector file.
- You might also receive additional security issues when you open the Excel Connector Template. If you see a banner stating “SECURITY WARNING” then you need to do the following steps.
-
Click on the hyperlink in the banner that says “Some active content has been disabled. Click for more details.”

This will take you to an info tab for the Excel Connector Template. You will need to navigate to Advanced Options under ‘Enable Content’ and then update the settings to “Enable content for this session”.
